The Vernon Morning Star is a newspaper that serves the communities in the
North Okanagan
of British Columbia Canada. The newspaper was founded in early 1988 and joined BC Interior, a divison of
Black Press
in December 1988. Compared to some of the other Okanagan publications that have been around since the early 1900's it is relatively young. On a personal note since I make my home here in Vernon BC I look forward to getting up on the mornings the paper is delivered and going out to retrieve it from my porch. It really is an outstanding newspaper and a very enjoyable read. Besides vernon the Morning Star serves the communities of Coldstream BC, Spallumchhen BC,
