Summer At The Resort
Winter at Mount Baldy isn't the only time to enjoy the activities at this resort. You can bring the family up in the summer months too.Check out the many trails that run through the hills. Great for mountain biking and hiking! There is an 18-hole championship frisbee golf course here that many people love to try out. Who says a great ski resort has to be used only for winter activities. Summer here is just as fun so make sure to plan a trip up the hill if you are in the

 Mt Baldy, like any of the Okanagan Ski Resorts, is well known for its light and dry "Okanagan powder" snow. Some more facts and figures on this ski resort are: Opened in 1968. 20km of marked snowshoe trails and non-groomed cross-country trails. 20km of groomed cross-country trails for day use. A full terrain park. A tobogganing area. There is skating available day and night time. Opened in 1968. Hosted the 1985 British Columbia Winter Games. The T-bar base elevation of 1722 meters (5650 ft) is the highest base of any ski resort in all of Canada!

Mount Baldy can be a day trip from anywhere in the Okanagan Valley. Distances from some Okanagan locations: 22 miles(35km) from

Some of the routes to get to the ski hill include: From BC Highway 33 west of Rock Creek (in the Boundary country). From BC Highway 3 north of Bridesville, BC. Road access via McKinney Road from Oliver BC.There is a Baldy bus that travels to the mountain and picks up commuters from the Okanagan communities of Penticton, Okanagan Falls, Oliver and Osoyoos.
The ski season usually begins here in early December and ends in early/mid April. Of course these dates are all dependent on the weather.Lift hours are 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM Thursday through Monday. They are open daily during student, Christmas and Spring breaks. Closed on Christmas day.
