The Central Okanagan Regional District is defined by having the largest population density of the entire valley.

This region includes the city of Kelowna , the largest city in the Okanagan Valley.

It also describes an area with many attractions and superb scenery wherever you visit here.

It truly is a place to explore and experience a fantastic time whenever you come. It will definitely make you want to come back for more!

The Central Okanagan has attractions galore for your adventurous pleasures. So much to do if you have the time to explore!

Feel like relaxing? How about visiting any of the lovely beaches along Okanagan Lake.
Or just chilling out at a local or provincial park.
Feeling hungry? There are many excellent restaurants and other eateries throughout the area.
How about shopping? There are several shopping malls and many more strip malls for your browsing pleasure.
The fruit here in the Okanagan Valley is famous and where better to treat yourself then by stopping at any of the roadside fruit stands. They are all fantastic!

Maybe a round of golf and some refreshments afterward. Plan an Okanagan golf vacation at some of the best golf courses around. It definitely is a golfer's paradise!
Wine is on tap here as in the rest of the valley. Take a wine tour or just sit back and enjoy a glass at any of the wineries in this region.
For the ski enthusiasts there is a small day-use ski hill in the area. Very affordable prices and great terrain make Crystal Mountain Ski Resort a must visit if you are here in the winter months.

I could go on and on about the activities that abound but I am just giving you an idea of some of many things to do in this spectacular area.

There are some neat cities and towns in this region of the Okanagan.

Peachland -Home to the legendary Ogopogo. Relax and enjoy this quiet little town and all it has to offer.

Westbank - Situated On the west side of Kelowna across Okanagan Lake. This quiet, lovely area is a visitors dream come true.

City of Kelowna - The hub of the Okanagan Valley. Everything you would want in a big city but still has that small town feel to it. Spend a day here, or a couple of weeks or longer. So many things to do and see in this one place alone.

Lake Country- Likes to be known as the Apple Capital of Canada. The Lake Country Museum is a neat spot to check out.
