Apex Ski Resort is located on a beautiful mountain in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia Canada.

The resort is only a short 30 minute drive from Penticton Canada and a day trip from any other Okanagan location. The mountain is less crowded and experiences shorter line-ups than some of the other Okanagan ski hills.

Apex resort still remains a hidden gem in Canadian skiing but the word is getting out what a fabulous place it is to visit and have a great time.

  • Enjoy skating outdoors day and night. There is even a one kilometer night lit adventure skating loop you can try your hand at.

  • Play some ice hockey on the outdoor regulation size ice rink.

  • Have a blast at the tube park. Open day and night this will keep everyone happy for hours. Always a favourite of mine!

  • Snowshoe tours are popular these days so book some time with

    HooDoo Adventures and explore the area. The scenery is unbelievable and great exercise for you too.

  • There are snowmobile tours available that take you out into some beautiful back country adventure.

  • Not far from the village is the Nickel Plate Nordic Centre. Choose from 56 world class trails to explore.

  • Are you into a little rest and relaxation? The Apex Mountain Inn and Spa offers spa treatments that will make you feel fresh and rejuvenated afterwards.

  • When you just want some adult time Apex resort has a licensed child care facility for you to take advantage of.

  • The village has five different restaurants to choose from when you are hungry. There is also a cafeteria and a snack shop here too.

  • Head over to the famous Gunbarrel Saloon for some cocktails and drinks after a fun day on the slopes. Great place to unwind with friends and family.

  • If you are staying overnight or longer you can settle in at the Apex Mountain Inn, the Saddleback Lodge> or the Double Diamond Hostel.

    If you are going to visit from other areas of the world there are 2 airports in the Okanagan. There are 3 daily flights that arrive from Vancouver to the Penticton Airport.

    The Kelowna International Airport has many flights to and from major Canadian hub airports. Apex Resort is only a 90 minute drive from this busy airport.
