Are you someone who is looking to go on an affordable family vacation that will leave you memories that will last a lifetime?

Or maybe you are a group of friends who want to get away from the 'big city' and come to a place where you can relax and have fun at the same time.

You may be a person who already lives here in the Okanagan but hasn't seen all the hidden gems it possesses.

Well, you have come to the right place.

I have had the privilege of living in this wonderful region since 1995.

I will give you a 'been there, done that' locals view of the Okanagan and everything there is to see and do here.

Let me be your tour guide as I help you explore and discover this beautiful area.

I have visited all of the cities up and down the valley.

It is truly a unique place!

The Okanagan lies in a valley in the South Central Interior of British Columbia, Canada. The area extends about 200 km (124 mi) from the city of Osoyoos in the south to the community of Enderby in the north.

There are an array of scenic places to visit and beautiful surroundings abound.

And if you look closely you may even catch a glimpse of the world famous Ogopogo which is said to inhabit the waters of Okanagan Lake.

You can't see everything in a day. Come and spend a week or more and you are sure to fall in love with this place as much as I have.

I want to give everyone from the outdoor enthusiast to the family looking for a vacation destination a sense of the variety of things to do and see in this famous wine country.

You can look forward to:

Clean and sandy beaches  Skaha, Osoyoos Lake, Kal Beach; these are just a few of the cool beaches to hang out on a hot summer afternoon.

I remember a time when the Okanagan valley wasn't so well known.

Well, word got out and it is not the hidden gem it once was.

It has become a favourite vacation destination for people from all over the world.

There are people flocking here now.

No wonder. They have discovered what my site is about to show you.

I will give you insider tips on the best accommodations and places to stay.

If there is a special event, fair or festival coming to the valley I will let you know well in advance.

Wondering what restaurant to go to? I'll let you know the best places to eat. Everyone likes to shop; let me lead you to the most popular malls (and even some lesser known places if you don't like the crowds).

Okanagan Valley Guide will be updated regularly. Be sure to check back as more pages are added and stay tuned for the latest updates.
